June 18         Departure on your own for Krakow.

June 19         Arrival Krakow.  We meet at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Krakow and enjoy a tour of Krakow including Schindler’s Factory. We continue together for a welcome kosher dinner in Krakow and overnight at the Radisson Blue Hotel Krakow.

June 20         Breakfast.  We depart early for a tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau.  We have a guided tour of the camps and see a documentary film about the liberation.  It’s a difficult day but one to remember always.  We return to Krakow for a kosher dinner and overnight at the Radisson Blue Hotel.

June 21         Breakfast.  This morning we begin our drive to Warsaw.  We fly from Warsaw to Budapest on Polish Lot Airlines and upon arrival are met and driven to the Hilton Budapest City Hotel.  Tonight we enjoy dinner in Budapest together.

June 22         Breakfast.  Today we enjoy a Jewish Tour of Budapest including the magnificent Doheny Synagogue.  In the afternoon we enjoy a tour of this charming city on the Danube with visits to the Citadel and Gellert Hill.  Dinner is on your own tonight.  There are fabulous restaurants in Budapest including the famed Gundel and dinner is on your own tonight.  Overnight Hilton Budapest City Hotel.

June 23         Breakfast.  We depart Budapest this morning by motor coach.  Our first stop will be Bratislava where we enjoy a Jewish tour of the city including the Museum of Jewish Culture, the Chatam Sofer Memorial and the Neolog Synagogue, the only remaining synagogue in the city.  We continue to Vienna for dinner and overnight at the Renaissance Wein Hotel Vienna.

June 24         Breakfast.  This is a free day to enjoy Shabbat in Vienna.  Join Rabbi Zimmerman for services in the hotel and a walk around this magnificent city.  Dinner is on your own after Shabbat and Vienna has marvelous restaurants to choose from.  Overnight Renaissance Wein Hotel Vienna.

June 25         Breakfast.  We enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Vienna today visiting the Belvedere Palace, the State Opera House and the Schonbrunn Palace.  We enjoy dinner and overnight at the Renaissance Wein Hotel Vienna.

June 26         Breakfast.  We depart Vienna this morning for Prague.  We make a stop at Mikulov, a beautiful old town with a wonderful Jewish Heritage.  In the first half of the 16th century this area became a cultural center of Moravian Jewry. The famous Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel (1525 – 1609), who is said to have created the golem of Prague, officiated here for twenty years.  We continue to Prague for overnight at the Yasmin Hotel Prague.

June 27         Breakfast.  This morning we enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Prague including the Castle area which includes the Old Royal Palace, the Charles Bridge and Old Town where we enjoy a Jewish tour of Prague.  Learn about the legend of the Golem who protected the Jewish people of Prague. There are seven synagogues open today in Prague; during the Nazi era all seven were used to store Judaica items. Five of those synagogues can be found in the remains of the ghetto which we will tour.  Also of note is the oldest Jewish cemetery in Europe, opened from the 15th century to the late 18th century. In the evening we enjoy dinner together and overnight at the Yasmin Hotel Prague.

June 28         Breakfast.  Free day to enjoy Prague. We enjoy a kosher farewell dinner together in Prague to celebrate our wonderful trip together.  Overnight Yasmin Hotel Prague.

June 29         Breakfast.  Our trip ends this morning in Prague.
